WHO IS IT DEDICATED TO?

The packages are dedicated to all those who want to simplify, optimize, and achieve greater quality from their workflow. Regardless of whether you are a professional photographer, an agency, an amateur photographer, or a company, the packages fit all needs and meet most customer requirements.

They are expressly developed for users of Adobe® Lightroom Classic CC, Adobe® Lightroom CC and Adobe® Photoshop CC and therefore compatible with the Adobe® Camera RAW workflow.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Using TheSpack color profiles has many benefits: better rendering of subject matter and saturated colors, more precise neutralization in white balance, perfect skin reproduction, and better file balance such that noise and color alterations are limited. This solution allows the cameras to be restored to their actual quality by thinning the color differences between models and allowing for brighter and more vivid colors. What makes this product different from others are above all its ease of use, support, flexibility, constant collaboration with numerous professionals and amateurs, and above all its completeness.

IS IT LIKE THE OTHER PRESET PACKAGES?

Definitely NO! This package was born from a totally different idea than the individual profile packages and required much more complex development.

First, it is based on dedicated profiles for the individual camera that are made using a proprietary color chart and some dedicated software. The profiles are then edited, corrected and adjusted to achieve the best possible result. Once the basic profile is obtained, it is then tested with different files taken in appropriate shooting situations to allow refinement of the product. All this leads to one and the same basic profile from which the main DNG profiles are born and derived that interact best with the development software.

Added to this system are a series of XMP profiles based on specific LUTs. The advantage is to achieve very similar results between different cameras while still maintaining the uniqueness and singularity of each product. All this is made easily accessible by a series of presets that combine the profiles made into a simple and straightforward element to use. Presets therefore do not change the curves or values of the development panels to determine a result, but make possible a range of modifications and interpretations that other software does not allow.

WILL MY IMAGES BE PERFECT FROM THE MOMENT THE FILE IS OPENED?

No, perfection is not in the software but in the photographer's idea. Everything is subjective. If you overexpose or underexpose your images or if the light conditions are not as expected, these packages do not allow you to solve everything in one click. They are born to help and simplify file development by providing better results through thorough research. No software can therefore properly recreate what you have in mind, and that is why you have to develop images, to achieve the desired product. Speed, quality and simplicity even for those who are not particularly experienced is what this package offers.

why are there so many DIFFERENT profiles?

The packages are created to meet the needs of users, so it is necessary to satisfy both those who need images with strong, saturated colors and those who prefer more subtle, muted images. For this reason, all DCP profiles have a different construction and behave differently in rendering and color control.

Personal needs drive the use of one development system over another. The difference in the construction of the profiles thus leads to considerable variation in the use of development commands and imposes different paths to achieve the required result.

Profiles then operate to serve the user's workflow, and these are exclusively a selection from the widest range of products available.

IS IT BETTER TO USE XMP PROFILES?

XMP profiles offer the great advantage of adding superior control to file development. They operate like a basic DCP profile when left at 0% while if the control slider is moved to the normal or higher point (100% - 200%) these intervene to modify the action of the profile itself and thus alter the development of the file by meeting the user's needs with ease.

In essence, the XMP profile becomes a convenient aid in many cases by adding functionality that would not be possible on a basic basis.

IS THERE AN ONLINE COURSE IN THE USE OF PACKAGES?

Given the differences among photographers in both type and need, we prefer to dedicate one-on-one courses so as to focus carefully on the user's needs and satisfy their questions. Depending on the type of service subscribed, different support options are available.

Is it possible to have a customized product?

Absolutely, the most important part of TheSpack is consulting, and this includes the creation of dedicated color profiles, calibration of cameras not included in the packages, training, on-set consulting and optimization of workflows. All these services are provided separately and you can request a quote for any consulting.

IS THE LICENSE PERPETUAL?

The single license of the color profiles is perpetual and granted to a single user according to the terms therein. The license is not assignable, transferable or installable to any computer other than the one selected by the user. It is not updatable and entitles only to the use of the color profiles contained in the package. Any upgrade of the packages, whether by change of color profiles or addition, or by inclusion of new cameras, will require a new upgrade license if an annual support plan has not been agreed upon and signed.

Multiple or subscription licenses allow, through the payment of an annual fee, access to the latest product release.
Updates are not guaranteed with stable cadence but arise from the needs of users who may request additions or changes that will be evaluated by us.
